Ekiuwa Norelus, LCSW, AFACAPP, CCTP, CGCS, QS is a dynamic, highly motivated and conscientious leader and clinician with a depth of knowledge and clinical experience in social work, psychology, sociology and mental health education and treatment.
Ekiuwa Norelus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Psychotherapist in Florida, who holds a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work. She is the Executive Clinical Director of Norelus Counseling and Family Center in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Ekiuwa Norelus has extensive experience and clinical training in relationship communication, psychological trauma, sexual trauma, grief, loss, bereavement, behavioral health problems and social problems affecting children, adults and families.
Most of Ekiuwa Norelus’ work has centered on treating and educating children, adolescents, adults, couples, the elderly and families with behavioral and emotional issues, trauma and relational issues in the underserved populations and suburban populations in Florida.
Ekiuwa Norelus has worked in over 70 schools in Florida. Her clinical experience has involved treating children, adults, families and professionals in Head Start programs, Daycares, Elementary schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges and Universities in the State of the Florida.
In addition, Ekiuwa Norelus has worked and treated patients in Hospitals, clinics, group homes, Assisted Living Facilities and nursing homes in the area of mental health.
Ekiuwa Norelus is an empathic and compassionate Therapist who is passionate about treating and educating people about social problems, mental health problems. Ekiuwa Norelus works to improve the awareness, education and treatment of trauma, grief, loss, sexual health and the importance of providing excellent mental health care and treatment to each individual or families she treats.
